EoN has beaten back the last gasp effort of everyone else to bring them down a notch without breaking a sweat. They've also used the battles in this "war" to target the best players in corps that have gone against them and have recruited tons of new players. So now EoN has absorbed even more skilled players, retained 70-80% of MH, and can easily pick off the remaining districts at their leisure like taking candy from a baby. On the flip side, indies, etc. that banded together to bring down EoN find themselves with less ISK and less skilled players.
EoN owns MH. They won PC. Game over. They've also blued almost every corp that can give them good fights, and recruited a great many of the players that could make the remaining corps somewhat competitive. So here's my question, and I ask this respectfully--not trolling--what's next? EoN members are now and will continue rolling in ISK, but what is there for them to spend it on? Pubstomping in instant matches? Crushing light weight corps in PC? I have a suggestion that I would like to put on the table but first I'd like to hear what others have to say. |

Probs a massive PS4 migration followed by slow-and-steady improvements to the game and ultimately a port of dust to PS4 at which point there will be a bit of boomerang of 'old-timers' coinciding with a massive marketing push for the PS4 version that is now 'somewhat decent' and ultimately a slowly growing player population.
For now, we grind SP and ISK and work the fields for our benevolent corp/alliance overlords . |

It seems to me that we're approaching the point where the forums will be all that's left for EoN members. If there are no good fights left and you've basically "won", the only thing left to do is talk about it on the forums. |

Yeah team queue FW will offer a way to fight with homies on a 16-man team without having to own and protect districts. Of course if EoN teams refuse to fight each other in FW then we've got the same problem all over again. More pubstomping. Few good fights.

Honestly, can't really say EoN 'won' PC until they've owned 100% of it. There's always another district to take. |

I'm hearing you say that you want to hold almost all of the districts indefinitely and remain in the position of dominance at the cost of good fights for your members and the rest of the community. That's EoN leadership's prerogative, but it deprives everyone of enjoyment and challenge. I can understand the satisfaction that comes from winning. Everyone wants and appreciates that. But right now I can't see the benefit in maintaining the status quo. Maybe I'm missing something but it just seems really boring for everyone. |

That's a good point. Perhaps EoN could go ahead and push for that total victory. It would be awesome for your members and a piece of history that would remain forever. Being then the undisputed champions and having truly earned the victory, EoN would then face the choice of how to move forward. Perhaps it would then be the right time to start again, or perhaps to even create a game within a game, a system of competition in which EoN enforces the rules. |

Mavado has about as much compassion for his players and the community as a lion has compassion for its prey.
Words of reason are lost on him. Just scroll back and look at his posts. I have suggested what you are saying in a clear, concise manner (with a little trolling) on my main for weeks. I have been responded to with ridicule, name calling, and much backlash towards myself and my corp tags. Read the forums, see posts from the likes of Lance2ballstrong.. King Kobra, Barrack Obama Failshame, and Mavado himself. They are e-leet douchebags at their finest. They care nothing for this community, their bored out of their minds playerbase (hopefully not so much anymore with some fights on the calendar), or even the game they spend countless hours still playing.
Your breath is wasted on them.
Eventually EoN will lose its strangle hold on PC and some of the skilled playerbase it has amassed when one of a few possible scenarios take place:
1. The majority of the corps in EoN as a whole realizes they have created an unstoppable force to which there is absolutely no competition, beyond any doubt, and they split up to start some fresh fights. 2. They realize they won, and "reset" the game because THEY think its a good idea (ego) 3. The coalition is successful in removing them from MH, and can backup re-attacks (doubtful, but still hopeful) 4. They quit to play other games, to come back some day once this game is "better".
P.S. no matter how much you cry about our carebear posts Mavado, we too.. dont give a flying **** about what you say or complain about. QQ more, your tears are delicious :) You were a carebear once too buddy, dont forget where you started from. |
