Lots of things to look forward systems wise (afk fix, matchmaking, ds3, vehicular manslaughter), balance wise(laser scope and armor) but I am really psyched about the visuals and effects. Just like weapon self shadowing doesnt sound like much on a piece of devblog, it makes a lot of difference in the immersion of the first person on the battlefield. The before and after are so different but you don't realize it.
" Fixed particle lights so weapons and objects around the player will be illuminated when firing a weapon",
This is a similar thing that I really liked when playing 1.4. and hadn't realized how important it felt.

My bad, that installation is freaking awesome to play, reminded me of "the Edge", for those that remember. |
