Dude. Your statement here is true. but do you understand the gravity of this statement you just made?
ARs account for more kills than 11 out of the 14 possible gun choices combined. they have higher DPS than Tank turrets and HMGs (hmg dps is higher but the disperion and hit detection make it all around lower). the AR has enough ammo capacity with a std AR to get 27 kills if they dnt miss a single hot, and are in effective range. If you only engage enemies in your effective range you can kill 17-18 enemies before needing a supply depot (average), dnt forget the perfect accuracy, zero overheat and near perfect hip fire.
so, if you were to use a milita AR with no damage mods, no profiiciency, and no headshots, with zero SP into ARs you can take out on average 15-17 (militia has less per clip). a MD can only get 4-6 kills without using flux grenades because it takes on average 3 shots to kill your average suit.
dnt forget there is literally no drawback to the AR. it has almost no weakness within the range of 5m-75m.
ARs are OP NOT tanks because TANKS ARE: expensive require alot of SP are a bigger target*

this is the problem. *just like with heavies, Tanks are supposed to be able to take punishment from multiple players on the enemy team. however, the problem is that one guy with some AV grenades can take out a tank by himself!. If he has lower level AV nades then he may need some some swarms or a "milita forge gun". but really?
A heavy can be taken out by 1 guy with a milita assault rifle in under 3.7 seconds. without damage mods, proficiency or headshots.
A tank can be taken out by one guy with AV grenades and milita forge gun or milita swarms.
the problem is that it DOES NOT REQUIRE A TEAM WITH AV TO TAKE OUT A TANK. just 1 guy running cheap AV stuff can handle most tanks. and just forget about dropships.

its a joke, you can advance and push forward with tanks because the AV from one guy on their team can negate your tanks and the rest of the 15 players on the enemy team can run proto caldari logistics with duvolles all match in pub matchs. thiss is the real problem not tanks in pub matchs proto suits with proto ARs.
its getting to the point where every match unless your running proto gear your team gets smacked because everyone is running proto caldari suits with duvolles.

you and I both know that dropships are no problem ever. just stop right there. LAVs are a problem until you have proto AV, then they are not. this = problem solved. i support this. 1 guy wit AV takingout 3 tanks, makes no ******* sense whatsoever.
again the tankers are just trying to fight back against the swarms of infantry with proto caldari assault and logistics suits withthere GEKs and duvolles. so its ok to have teams composed of this, but when their are tanks its a problem. you guys try to nerf everything that isnt an AR or an assault suit.
