the other day i decided to sacrifice a DS just for the sake of how far i can go, and as it turns out, pretty far. i could understand Technical issues with this idea, given the fact that this is the ps3, but if anything for 1.5 update or less, can there be a way to expand the battlefield 2-3 times more so than usual, just to test how far we can push the ps3??
just a thought, but i hope this can be noticed. thank your for your time, and Safe Hunting |

as i said before, just to push how far they can go with the ps3, but still i get your point, more space to play in=more people in at once.
but it can also go to say... the larger the maps , the larger the distance in between objectives? |

J Lav wrote:Hrrm, and and here I was thinking that the maps had very little to offer as is. The area itself can be huge, but the battles only take place in small areas, pockets of the maps. How about the city modules, put 2 of them in a map, right next to eachother and see how that goes. There would be loads more real-estate to play on.
like that somehow, like 2 city modules, and pretty much "No man's land" in between, give them a considerable distance between the two with a few objectives in the middle and see how that goes.

I'm game if that is the case, however, I don't think with the PS3 hardware they can support larger maps with more people. i know that, currently the ps3 will have some problems with that many people, but im still thinking that to test, push the boundaries of how much space we can travel upon.
but even then, it'll still be interesting given the fact that if implemented, and objectives are so far apart now, people will Grudgingly have to turn to the fastest methods of transportation, in order for them to rack up the kills. as that starship trooper quote goes " fleet does the flying, boots do the dying."
Uplinks will have more tactical value given the wide range of space.
scanners will be more valuable.
Dropship pilots will be able to fly decently without of fear of getting shot out the sky, until they reach their intended destination.
it really doesnt have to be more people = more interesting. Its the hotspots, where the majority of player traffic will be aimed towards, will make that for you.
EDIT: it'll also give that planned MCC Commander Role more value.just saying |
