My opinion on the rewards.
Week One:
- 'Burnstalk' Laser rifle
Please, Stop giving these out. I still have many from past events.
It's downright an awful weapon and isn't decent until at-least Adv. Level.
- 'Dawnpyre' R-9 Drop Uplink
This I very much approve of, people may think little of it.
But once they get to sample the power of two active Up-links they'll forgive you.
- 'Neo' Commando A-I dropsuit
I have biased opinions towards heavies personally, as the Minmatar lack one.
However, this will be a great chance for others to sample heavy power, although Sentential would be better.
Week Two:
- 'Bond' Enhanced Shield Energizer
Now this is good, jumping to Adv. Level of a new item.
Great way to let players test it before potentially wasting skill points.
- 'Haywire' Wirykomi Swarm Launcher
Yes, and Yes, a good sample of strong Anti-Vehicle Force.
However, I feel Drivers, Gunners and Pilots are going to be have a rough week following.
- 'Neo' Assault A-I dropsuit
I feel this should be Adv. Level, or a Basic Logistics.
Assault is just too common a role for anyone to see Std. Level being worth anything.

You really should've released 1.4 before you launched this event.
Just had my entire Squad Proto-stomped, Murder Taxi'd and even Shield Tanked to the extreme.
I honestly can not find an effective way to destroy a shield based tank, don't same Flux's are it's impossible to get close. |

Thank god this flawed event is almost over.
I haven't been even playing the game.
All the PC Corps are running into the lesser players will full Prototype Gear.
It's almost impossible to win, and very difficult to even enjoy the game.
I see multiple high-end Tanks, LLAVs and other high powered items,
That frankly none of my Corp. can or even my Team can match.
Whilst I'm not going to bash the Pub Stompers, you need to correct match-making.
Give them an actual challenge, and give us a fu*king chance to eventually get on their level.
Because as it stands, I see why people AFK Farm;
I mean, why lose ISK for such a small payout in both ISK & SP. Whilst versing unmatchable Proto. Stompers.
When you could simply stay in the MCC or hidden on the map and get a slightly lesser ISK & SP Payout at no cost.
These PC Corps. sure as hell aren't going to all this event for these awards, as most have the ISK Varietals.
But you've given them a goal that they wish to reach which leads me to believe overall this game is dull to them.
Give us a better match-making for the newbies to enjoy the game, and for the Veterans to actually enjoy a challenge.
Additionally, I don't want to hear any bullsh*t about how match-making was improved in 1.4.
I've already played several games and I've noticed little to no difference. |
