I have to agree; there was nothing here new that I couldn't buy at any other time. On top of that, the event's constraints forces you to give a crap about the outcome of the battle for meager prizes.

The Dropsuit BPCs are A-1 class, which if my memory serves me right is the advanced suit, however, suits that I won't use at all since I have been using vehicles recently. The rest of the items seem just as lame to me.

Why CCP... why did you just hand out AURUM Prototype Swarm Launchers (Haywires) to anyone with advanced swarms, yet not a single item for Vehicle players? Do you really just not care about us?

If done with multiple characters, you can do whatever you like and only spend a couple minutes here and there to squeeze in points for a clear win and get double or triple the event awards. Sometimes, I don't think CCP is trying anymore...
