So I was wondering will there be another optional respec? I would really like this I have over 13mill in sp and not to happy with being a heavy anymore so i'm requesting a respec of my character if its only mine that's fine to. how does everyone else feel about this? |

Well sounds like you better start spending your SP points into a new suit then. |

this is true I seem to always have sp everywhere heavy, assault, logi, tank but you're right it does give you a slight edge being able to do multiple roles. |

Plus it makes you more valuable in the corp. Well in mine anyway. Adapting to the situation. |

Putting those skill points in wisely was important.Should have focused on putting them where your federation character stands in the game.Jumping to much, and wasting them makes you weak, and stand no chances without proto levels.
on the bright side you'll always get more lol |

true but if you put your sp in one main role you are better suited for that role. in example I put my sp into a advanced logi and tools to lvl 3 and suit upgrades to lvl 3 so my logi can repair quicker, revive people with more armor, and throw down nanohives. And if you put your squad together right it works fine. my squad is usually made up of 2 logies, a heavy, and 2 assaults or a tanker and 1 assault. so we will help each other out when possible. so there is no need for a respec if you can squad right. and you can just save up your sp to get your new suit. |

Respecs aren't going to come just at a drop of the hat, a new skill tree or lots of new skills would have to be implimented onto the game in order for a respec to happen. I support that decision also, you made choices, you live with the choices you have made. You're not always going to be the FOTM and have all the SP to skill into it right away and some things that were great early on are going to not be so happy later on or you might not like the suit design etc. In short give it around 3-5 more months and you will get your respecs as so much stuff will have changed by then that a respec will be in order for everyone. Also, now you can simply just login not even have to play and get 3-7k of sp and log right back out. Meaning you can spec into another suit type within a week or two without really doing much of anything at all. |

Personally I don't want to see respecs handed out. The only thing I can support however is a partial reimbursement of the SP invested in skill books that have been affected and a full refund of any SP invested in skill books that have been completely removed. Other than that, I don't want to see a respec system in place for reasons that I have explained too many times in the forums. |

I agree with that but I also have to throw out some love to the Heavies/Scouts/Vehicles that dont have their full racials yet. Us medium suit users got two respecs when the full set was released so we were able to choose exactly what we wanted (at the time). I think its only fair to allow Scouts/Heavies/Vehicles to do the same.
I have a few that I would love to get rid of but I made those choices with full knowledge that stats can change all the time and not because I didnt have any other choice. |

There are a lot of us who think respecs should be a part of the game that we pay money for, the problem is our voice is silenced a lot by our own cpm council, until we get the cpm clear of eve crossovers that hold to a principal of no respecs, a principal pressed upon us without a say in the matter. So to review, first step in reclaiming our game and getting opt or paid respecs is removing eve nerd crossovers that have no business in fps to start with. I say stay in your ships..... |

You have to realize first off that CCP is in the business of making money over anything else. Would a mass respec be profitable or would making us keep playing to get more SP and spend more time in game be more profitable. That is the root of the problem. Just look at all the AURUM packs and items they are flooding the market with..... And none of them any better than what's already on the market. Why would I buy an AURUM pack containing weapons that offer no more hit points, no larger clip, no more total ammo than what's already available?
FOTM (flavor of the month) is the other problem. As people get into different things and something gets dubbed OP everybody floods to it, spending SP, then, they nerf it...... wasted SP. No respec, so sorry. Then the cycle starts over again.
I would rather see a 100K, or maybe even 200K, AURUM paid respec. Then the folks would have an option of an available respec, but wouldn't mean everybody getting one at the same time.
I also think a weekly cap that is relative to the amount of SP you need to level up would be nice. Spending a month or more getting one ability to level 5 is a bit tedious. Maybe a 300K limit for people over 10 million total lifetime SP. Maybe an AURUM limit increase for a week, like a booster. That would be more useful for me than worthless weapons. |

I recommed you rather do something more productive until PS4 and better shooters appear in the latter console. |

NO RESPEC... you should be more wise with what you spec into you flavour of the month players
The only way i would see them doing a respec is when they bring out the other suits, even then i know guys saving there SP for when that happens. Spec into a new role but you are not getting another respec deal with it and save your SP instead of spending it on BS sick of player crying bout how they dont like what they speced into.. eg. flaylock users (more commonly known as flavour of the month players) should live with there choice.
Clones adapt and overcome. NO MORE RESPECS

I would appreciate it if they reimbursed the dropsuit command tree when they end up changing all the role bonus's on the suits or whatever may be relevant to vehicles when they change that aswell, but a full respec isn't necessary. Needing a respec is a problem for those with low sp, for me even if they gave no SP reimbursement at all when they change stuff it probably wouldn't matter because by the time that happens all I will have to skill into is the suit I want.
Still, it would be nice though as a total change to the role bonus of a suit isn't the same as crying your your guns splash radius is a little smaller

there wont be another respec, i have literally skilled into everything i dont care that some things arent to my taste its just nice to have everything adv. just think your gonna have to skill into other things one day so why not start now whilst there are some nooby players out there i have lev5 all vehicle upgrades and a pretty good suit if your gonna complain about what you skilled into, and got bored with it its not ccp's fault its yours so stop crying and get on with the game. |

I would support a respec especially for those of us with scout suits as our primary spec. Right now we scouts are stuck in a situation where our role can be done as good or better by medium frame users. The biggest problem is everyone being able to turn around at the same speed. If we don't kill our target in 1 shot most likely they will turn around and kill us esp heavies. Increase our strafe speed, our sprint speed, and give us more CPU or give us a respec. |
