make a version of the Assault scrambler rifle availible at STD level. make it weaker by about 20% less ammo, and 20% less damage. but put it at the same price ISK as the regular scrambler rilfe and make it STD.
at least give us Scrambler users another Option. |

I'd stop speccing into them.. they are buffing armor in the next patch. Unless you are good with the charged single shot the weapon will get dominated. |

basic plates going to 85 from 65, i think the other ones are getting other slight bonuses. the buff isn't that big in the HP department.
the movement penalty is a bigger consideration, however, all movement speed will be getting a nerfed by 90% side to side.
since aim assist is getting fixed if you werent a deadshot now you wil be then. its nothing to worry about. actually your galente, you should be happy |

The assault scram is the only scram I'll use, it's on a commando w AR, good combo, but way to expensive to run all the time, which is a shame. |

i believe you meant at lvl2 and lvl 4, as for more variants i'd rather see them release the combat rifle and the other suits we're missing than working on more variants of the weapons we already have. |

If you don't know your %'s use a calculator from adv the AscR is 37.9 i believe (either 37.8 or .9) (from .9) a decrease in damage by 20% (by calculator) is 30.32 (so if im correct 30.5) a reduction in ammo in my opinion is ******** no offense a reduction by 20% is 57.6 in ammo. Please think and use calculators if your stumped cause clearly you do not understand %'s (Yes i use a calculator, but I understand this games calculation, numbers got me stumped? I use a calculator! .)
Keep it at 72 ammo and if they do a STD variant put it at Dmg 35, kay? |

**** gimme a break, i meant to put a different percentage, i was actually thinking in terms of dps when i said 20%. but yeah, it doesn't matter. to be honest, i dnt give 2 fucks.... 35 is fine. obviously, you could see my intent was to make a slightly weaker variant for the std lvl. that AR noobs wouldnt instantly scream is OP. |

I would love a lvl 2 standard assault scrambler rifle with a cost of 2500 ISK. A decrease of about 1 point in damage and a decrease of 1.6 points in accuracy would be enough I think to make this variant accessible at lvl 2 while also keeping the lvl 4 assault scrambler variant. Adjusting the CPU and PG requirements of the lvl 2 assault scrambler rifle would be necessary. |

I agree with the OP, but this is what I'd really like to see - all variants at all levels. It's one thing if they're completely re-arranging things like they did with nanohives post-uprising, but they should be able to scale damage, etc. accordingly for the various weapons. It's also disappointing when there is no proto-version of a variant. |

And, the Field wasn't spammed with ADV weaponry against STD gear like it is now.
Now, they have to dump upwards of Half a mil SP to try a gun with slightly different Stats.
If you want to try that "Brand New Gun" you have to dump so Much Time, and SP in it, to determine if a Player wants to continue on the SP path.
It would help breed diversity through the fact that you could then just easily jump to another role without another huge commitment to trying out the role. |

I actually looked in the market under the variant tab on AScRs, and saw there is in fact a Std. AScR somewhere in there. If it's already made, it would be super easy to implement, so I don't see why CCP just does it. |

bump. i see CCP has the code for the STD level assault scrambler rifle in the game, go under variants, of the CDR- AScr and you will see under it a rifle that just says "Assault Scrambler".

Seriously, give access to all variants as early as possible. More variation is good. Balance the variants properly, but make them available. Preferably even as militia variants. |

You know you could always spec to lvl1 and just use the aur variant and support the development of the game.... The crd9 aur variant is available at lvl1. That's how I tested out the ascr before I but the bullet and trained for it. |
