This is a needlessly complicated suggestion and would probably be a pain to code. Grenades are pretty close to perfect as they are so stop your QQ. |

Yep, that is my response.
As I clearly stated there are not any major issues with the grenades in their current state. They have high alpha damage but are hampered by their low RoF, limited range, limited ammo, and fuse timer.
You proposed a solution to an undefined problem. You never said why grenades were in need of a nerf. I'd say that by comparison I was rather descriptive with my reasoning.
Additionally, you are calling for a nerf to grenades, without stating a reason or presenting any evidence to support his theory that grenades need a nerf. As such any suggestion to nerf an item can, and I would argue should, be interpreted as needless QQ and treated as such. If you wanted a kinder answer he should have explained his rational better which would have allowed me to more clearly argue against your idea rather than his unexplained call for a nerf.
Plus, while your suggestion is wonderful from a immersion point of view it would be, as I said, a major pain to program. While CCP has so much on their plate this idea, which is fixing something that is not a problem, should be relegated to the waste bin. |

I agree that it would be funny but I don't think it is ever going to happen. Perhaps I'm just being cynical but we don't have all the races suits yet, we're missing tons of weapons, PvE has yet to be implemented, and CCP has made numberous other major promises (open market, battles on every planet type in eve, etc...) that have yet to be show to us in demo form even. Something like this, which would be very tricky to implement well is probably nowhere on their radar. |

First, when did 'try hard' become a bad word. People who work hard at something should be emulated not made fun of. Also yes, I have played in PC matches and yes I still find that grenades are fine. |
