Probably the same as what I would do when I retire, living in solitude on some remote location in Intaki, studying the Ida faith and hopefully become an Idama. Or if my previous career was any indication, I'd probably continue being a hitman for the Intaki Syndicate until I got a bullet to my head. |

My father always wanted a simple life for me. He never wanted me to get into the "family business" of being a mercenary. When he died he was actually working on getting my family a place in a colony in Intaki Syndicate lands. He liked to tell me about all the things I could accomplish with the fresh start he was going to provide us all.
Truth be told, I never wanted that though. I grew up outside of the State so naturally I was drawn to the happenings in more populated regions like The Forge. I fell in love with the entertainment and never really got over it. I always wanted to be a Splinterz operator, though these days I feel like I would make a pretty good Mind Clash player. If I can recreate half the things I see in my dreams then my opponents wouldn't stand a chance. |

You were a hitman?! That's kinda cool and kinda scary. Remind me not to get on your bad side. :P
If I never told my parents that I didn't want to work in their restaurant anymore, I'd probably be waitressing still or cooking. If I stuck with telling them hell no to working there lol, I'd be living in some crap apartment singing and performing around Matar. But more than anything I would talk to my parents more. My dad is a jerk and set in his ways and my mom just goes along with it. Kinda glad I told them I didn't want to work for them anymore. |

My personal favorite team is The Perimeter Hawkeyes. I've seen them in matches against the Ironbacks were they will lead all the heavy drones into a killbox before they ambush an entire team all at once with railguns from long range.

I'll have to check out a few matches. Before I become a merc I was a wild child. If I wasn't doing one thing, I was doing another. I can admit that I was a handful compared to my siblings. Being a merc really calmed me down. Not wanting to work in the restaurant anymore was like the icing on the cake for my dad. My mom kinda understood but even then she wanted me to stay. I'm not sure what I would be doing to be honest, I don't really call myself a mercenary but I get your point, I would perhaps be somewhere on Mehkios, or in the Sarum Prime system working perhaps some industrial job, perhaps security, visiting the great chapels of Sarum Prime, perhaps I would have had time to go on a pilgrimage, or met a woman and raised a family.
Such things are beyond me now and I do not dwell on them. |

It was not a profession I chose, it was something I had drifted towards when I ran away from home as a teenager and started living on my own. It's a rather lengthy story.

I was 16 when I ran away from home, and at the time I was really impulsive, impatient and inconsiderate. I believe that I had become what I am right now after I had started taking hitman contracts, it took some, practice to keep yourself unattached and impassionate towards your targets. Right now I'm 32, and judging by my career I'm going to be retiring before I turn 35. |

I understand those impulsive, impatient and inconsiderate ways. I think all teens are like that. I only recently became a merc three years ago when I was twenty one, but even then my decision was a quick one. I didn't even think about it. Why retire though?
Being impulsive impatient and inconsiderate in a culture of calmness and consideration is even worse, that's why I left Intaki Prime and started living in the Syndicate regions. I found myself a small apartment to live in at a small station in the heart of Syndicate territory, paying the rent by doing errands for other people and feeding myself with food I had stolen from cargo transports. Eventually, I got into smuggling several kinds of contraband for Syndicate bosses, mostly drugs, illegal boosters and weapons.
Years passed and I had gained a reputation of being an able smuggler and not getting caught ever, during those years I had also gained some skills on handling weapons and hold my own during a firefight. That eventually led into me being hired to kill one of the dealers that supplied me weapons, which paved the way for my hitman career. More years passed, and the Black Eagles contacted me to join the clone soldier program, which eventually led me into the situation I am right now.
Could I have lived my life better? Possibly. Do I regret my decisions? No, the choices I have made shaped the person I am now, and I am fairly happy like this.
Why retire? Being a clone soldier can be tiring and at some cases traumatic. It can be really stressful at times, dying again and again and still pressing on to keep fighting to fulfill your contract, not to mention the psychological problems our implants bring. I'm surprised if I didn't burn out before turning 35, in which case I would retire to a remote location to live by myself. |

Wishful thinking on her part I would say since they are crack troops trained from young ages. Everybody always says the Kamiera are minmatar. I think it is false information or propaganda to make the Empire look to be a threat. I say any bloodline or race could become Kamiera if it was wished. The most devoted and faithful of the young age they begin training at are the ones to be proud of.
In my case, I would still be on Kerberz IV in the Youledian constellation moving cargo and other goods for the Empire and watching the storm through the domes. |

Yes, some deaths can be really painful, especially after you get revived again and again with the nanites struggling to patch up your broken body, sometimes very painfully. And even after returning from battle phantom pain might still persist, it's a nightmare to deal with.

Not to mention that all Jove stations are gone from the known space, and all access to Jove space is restricted from us. I don't know where you got that holoreel from, but I doubt it's from the place you claim it to be. In all fairness, Mr. Kalamari, there is at least some concrete evidence of a common origin: our genetic structure. We have a great deal of genetic data in common with one another, somewhat less in common with certain plants and animals found on a a great many worlds, and very little in common with the indigenous life forms that appear on planets whose biospheres we apparently had little to do with.
We are descended from the Ancients. Where the Ancients came from is unclear, but seems to have been beyond the Eve Gate. The "Terran" speculation, however, is, as you say, just that. |

I dont know about the Jove one of the only races of people i haven't meet, but ive seen alot of the universe we call New Eden and the most disturbing was in wormholes stuff that i could not explain teck that is so far beyond what i have ever seen, strange contraptions capable or rendering unprepared eggers to scrap in seconds, data and lots of it mostly unidentifiable, but yet no life just silence it was kind of eery but yet i felt like i was in the right place if that makes sense.

Yeah ive been in a wormhole as a clone soldier i was onboard a egger ship that i know the pilot of, I was lucky the pilot was prepared i did not have to add rapid decompression and frozen to my list of this has killed me, it was a short stay but would definatly go back some day i hope to board one of those constructs see what is in them, Iam guessing more questions than answers.

The pilot whos ship i was onboard has told me of stories of other whs he explored finding abandoned stations he refered to as POS that other eggers used to live in but for some reason leave it in one peice perhaps it was war, boredom or something else but i often wonder what about the crew of these stations if any survive are they still sane?
Other stuff abandoned ships of eggers who abandoned ship after getting lost, in wh space scanners are very important to find your way around again what about the crew of the ship which just drifts there they cant even abandon ship to try and get back home only chance they have is try to find a habital planet and hope they are not also infested with those strange creatures the eggers refer to as sleepers.
It must be hard to find crew for any wh bound ships knowing if something goes wrong they are in for a interesting time. Living in wh takes a certain type of person that much is true.

I figure anyone who signs on to a ship they know is going into a wormhole is doing so for adventure no better place, to make there fortune, or curiosity.
But i fear alot of people are members of the ships crew before it goes into wormholes, after all crewman is a valid profession to mortals. On board the ship i was on some of the crew was ex crewmen from another ship the pilot had flown that had some sort of major technical issues, the rest of the crew comprised of people who were looking to join on for adventure after all the life of a podder is alot of things but boring is not one of them at least it aint for the crew haha.
Also True you are definitely right they are most interesting places. With the addition of the implants we take for granted we are uniquely suited for exploring the finer details of wormholes and what ever mysteries they hold. Some day when the opportunity arises i hope to search for said mysteries.
Also Xander good to see another ex Valklear, i was enlisted when some of the stuff i did in the past as bounty hunter caught up with me, were you one of the ones chosen to be sent to the mordus legion during the trials? Thats how i ended up like this in fairness it was a good trade we got high end gear, a lot of isk, a new life and of course immortality unfortunately a few of our guys did go off the rails a bit. |

What makes you think they still live? I would not go so far to say as they are extinct...but they are most surely a dead race, additionally we could not ransack their space even though we want to desperately. Not only do we not know how to get there, but the Nation supposedly has massive fleets in Jove space.

Read the reports issued by CONCORD, we know that there was a Sansha's Nation Fleet in space around a Jovian out post. If the Jove were so mighty they would wipe out the Nation themselves....they have not.... something is amiss in that region of space.
