The pilot whos ship i was onboard has told me of stories of other whs he explored finding abandoned stations he refered to as POS that other eggers used to live in but for some reason leave it in one peice perhaps it was war, boredom or something else but i often wonder what about the crew of these stations if any survive are they still sane?
Other stuff abandoned ships of eggers who abandoned ship after getting lost, in wh space scanners are very important to find your way around again what about the crew of the ship which just drifts there they cant even abandon ship to try and get back home only chance they have is try to find a habital planet and hope they are not also infested with those strange creatures the eggers refer to as sleepers.
It must be hard to find crew for any wh bound ships knowing if something goes wrong they are in for a interesting time. Living in wh takes a certain type of person that much is true.

Wow, I didn't even think about that... I know the pay is apparently huge for joining a capsuleer's crew, but with stuff like this to consider, why the heck would you do it? Also who gives them life insurance? The rates must e a b****. |

Its worth every second of it. I own a planet.... well in the sense that I claimed it, settled a community on it and now it thrives. |

I figure anyone who signs on to a ship they know is going into a wormhole is doing so for adventure no better place, to make there fortune, or curiosity.
But i fear alot of people are members of the ships crew before it goes into wormholes, after all crewman is a valid profession to mortals. On board the ship i was on some of the crew was ex crewmen from another ship the pilot had flown that had some sort of major technical issues, the rest of the crew comprised of people who were looking to join on for adventure after all the life of a podder is alot of things but boring is not one of them at least it aint for the crew haha.
Also True you are definitely right they are most interesting places. With the addition of the implants we take for granted we are uniquely suited for exploring the finer details of wormholes and what ever mysteries they hold. Some day when the opportunity arises i hope to search for said mysteries.
Also Xander good to see another ex Valklear, i was enlisted when some of the stuff i did in the past as bounty hunter caught up with me, were you one of the ones chosen to be sent to the mordus legion during the trials? Thats how i ended up like this in fairness it was a good trade we got high end gear, a lot of isk, a new life and of course immortality unfortunately a few of our guys did go off the rails a bit. |

I like to think that every person who has ended up lost in wormhole space found themselves in some kind of cosmic lost and found and are all having a tea party or something surrounded by lost races, talking cats, and giant birds with the faces of men. |

I... wonder if I would have stopped Nissa from going to Caldari Prime before the incident. I was in the Federal Marines before this. We'd been staying on Villore at the time. Maybe I would have had more time to convince her if I hadn't become immortal. If not I'd probably still be the drunken wreck I was after Caldari Prime, or be dead from alcohol poisoning.

Although I don't remember much of my past, I've been more than willing to donate my time and skills to help those in need. Mostly providing medical expertise and logistics. Back on Caldari Prime, after the fighting stopped I immediately went to work helping out planet-side.
Does anyone know why I can't put forge guns on my HAV? More power than a railgun without eating up my PG, sounds good.

What makes you think they still live? I would not go so far to say as they are extinct...but they are most surely a dead race, additionally we could not ransack their space even though we want to desperately. Not only do we not know how to get there, but the Nation supposedly has massive fleets in Jove space.

That was some time ago. I don't believe the Jove are strong enough... what do you know of the Nation? They have nearly the same level of technology as the Jove militarily, they have nearly unlimited number of True Slaves, either the Jove are allowing the Nation to hold some of their systems...which I find highly unlikely as you said they united the empires against Sansha, or they have been bested and the Nation now holding Jove space.

Do we know for a fact that they are in Jove space and not wormhole space? Could that have merely been a remote outpost for the Jove that they didn't consider worth defending, or maybe been abandoned? Not that it would be any better if those were sleeper stations.

Read the reports issued by CONCORD, we know that there was a Sansha's Nation Fleet in space around a Jovian out post. If the Jove were so mighty they would wipe out the Nation themselves....they have not.... something is amiss in that region of space.

I mean everyone here would murder to kill someone else than the same mercs they fought in the last fight over and over again ( well I would do that but whatever!). Now back to the topic tbh if I weren't a merc well I think I would still be part of the security force on my home station |
