i love using mass driver's but it seems mayority of players use shield suit's to cansel the efectiveness of the mass driver
seeing i use a galante suit i end up killing myself alot cause of certain invisable walls or careless ally's geting infront of me
but i think there shud have been a anti shield mass driver varient seeing there are shield type suit's in the game
stats shuild be similar to the regular mass driver to keep it fair just difrent attack image's a energy orb for instance
and have
the same shield damage as mass driver armor damage
and reduced armor damage same as a mass driver on shield
this wuild give armor player's a way to use a mass driver in situations that require anti shield damage instead of anti armoure
and bring pain to the caldari 
seeing im a galante entuisiast i just love blasting caldari's not sure why i love galante and hate caldari i just do   |

You don't really lose all that much damage from shields. But Having more weapons swap the Shield/Armor bonus and penalties would be great. Or variants that did equal amounts at cost of 5% damage. |

Agree with this, i want to see the rage of shield tankers, then they will understand how easy is to kill an armor tanker with a MD. |

Eehhh, as a Gallente Armor tanker I would disagree with this OP. Lore wise, Plasma is what Gallente likes to mess with. Minmater holds the trophy for having the most guns using mechanical power (Their guns use casings and explosives). Their gun tech is relevant to ours IRL. If you want anti-shields, look no further than Gallente tech. Also, with 1.4-1.5 coming around the corner, you're going to see a healthy amount of armor tankers. Fun for the MD's yes? |

i meanth a difrent skin to the weapon aswel whit plasma based rounds so basicly a mass driver made bye the galante not a minmatar weapon
think evry race shud have a weapon in each type seeing why wuild galante use minmatar weapon if they can just make one themselve's to there own spesification's like whit tanks you got a tank for evry race so a weapon for evry race shuild be just as nice |

I reckon the Gallente heavy weapon will be something like that. Short range, big area of effect plasma damage. Clear the room kinda stuff.
Yes, sounds like plasma cannon but would have bigger clip and fill plasma cannon's role better, allowing plasma cannon to fire faster, more accurately, farther, with less damage and bigger clip. |

Gallente = Blaster/Railgun
Minmatar = Projectile
Caldari = Missile
Amarr = Lasers
Just so you understand. The Mass Driver would be classified as Minmatar weapon, so the choice that would agree with your idea is using EMP rounds (which is an actual ammo type Minmatar use in EvE). I see no destruction of lore here, they would just have to make you capable of choosing which ammo you wish to use. |
