So i wanted to discuss this upcoming armour buff.
This will bring much more good than bad in my opinion.
Pros
More usage of Repair tools.
More triage nanohives.
More reason to get the Wiyrkomi nanite injectors. (80% armour back upon revive)
More diversity.
Shields are now equal to armour in usefulness.
The other 2 completely useless armour mods, are now useful.
Heavies are now a force to be reckon with, but will still be very slow, but can now "tank" like they should have always been able too.
Gallente scouts get a stealth buff. Scouts will take any buff they can get.
Caldari are now not the only race that excels at what it should (besides minmatar with their speed) Amarr will now be better, along with the Gallente.
Cons
More mass driver usage, hopefully not too much.
More grenades.
QQ on the forums about how heavies are OP because of the new balanced armour,
I can just see it now. "Heavies are so hard to kill nerf nerf nerf".
Anyways if you see anymore pros/cons feel free to add them in

The Gallente scout isn't getting buffed because of this, just the Gallente light frame. There is still no purpose in skilling into the Gallente scout because the two passive bonuses (scan radius and profile signature) are useless. |

People are using Scout as synonymous with the light frame, but there is a difference. Of course you meant Gallente, Minmatar only gets one low which isn't enough for any armor tanking. |

It's only good for armor tankers the other half see it as something bad including my self. Buffs and nerfs only work out for certain people unless something is just completely broken and really needs a buff. That's how it always is. |

It's only good for armor tankers the other half see it as something bad including my self. Buffs and nerfs only work out for certain people unless something is just completely broken and really needs a buff. That's how it always is. Well of course it isn't good for shield tankers, but there still going to be great. Armour being good also, doesn't change that |

The Armor buffs do not do ANYTHING for a Gallente Scout, no worthy scout will sacrifice their speed for extra life, (I MIGHT use the Basic Reactive Plate, but I probabably won't as what I have now is better suited) |

Except again, this isn't buffing scouts its buffing the light frame. Light Frame does not equal Scout. It may seem trivial since scout is the only role to go into from the light frame, but it is still important to distinguish between them. This armor update isn't going to help scouts do their role of scouting. |

All i see is instead of CCP buffing specific suits for more incentive to armor tank and benefit more from it compared to others , they just buffed EVERYONE with armor,kind half asked to me.Doing it this way just opens up more cans of worms no one thought about and steps us back from a better game. |

Highly disagree. While you may see more dual tanking, this is by far more positive to the overall game and nowhere near a setback.
