I really enjoy the Mass Driver and honestly feel very dirty and lowdown when I use it. IMO I think there should be a pre-fit suit that has the MD on it , actually a pre-fit suit that has one of every weapon on it that requires no SP sink to use so that NEW players can get an idea of which path they would like to go as far as SP sinking. I think it is an overstatement on my part to call any weapon OP as I may have in the past and I would just like from this moment forward to just call these weapons "Easy Street" in the future due to not needing much skill to use and a full proto SP sink is not needed to be somewhat effective on the battlefield... like the basic AR. I would also like to say that this weekend starts the open beta for the Final Fantasy "A Realm Reborn" and I will be on the "Leviathan" server if you would like to join me and perhaps start a Link Shell....thanks!

The assault rifle is more effective than the mas driver but because you die to it now you want it nerfed? lol

2x shield extenders
2x red (speed)
Nova knife
Smg
Remote explosives

Your funny flaylock steve. My point was he wasn't even near to aiming at his intended target. And Im sure your smg is just wicked. Funny how so many people didn't like the fused nades, but the md is just the same thing with alot more ammo. Btw I use a scrambler rifle and take out md users before entering an area like that. I adapt. I think your name says it all.

1.47 . And i dont brag kid. I just say what ive been using lately. Try using remote explosives as a main. Let's see your kdr. You're bad lol. I'm just pointing out that when I go against a mass driver user its usually when I'm in a scout suit and I just take him out with my smg. If I use my ar or my other suits I don't die as much unless going against a two sqaud team. So again nice try, point? And um to have a 1.41 kdr with a scout isn't a bad thing. Scouts suck so bad. I got a 1.47 and I used to use strictly scouts until month ago that I bought that dren pack. And I still have a 1800+ kill death difference. Not bad for someone that started playing 2 months ago

From what I saw, they're play style wasn't tactical. No I'm not pro but I don't own nothing that is proto gear. Just standard modules and I go against proto stompers and I manage to do fairly well against them. Just saying, that video didn't really show anyone doing anything tactical...

i don't use the noob word I find it offensive to call any player that its the n word to gamers

but the MD takes down health so fast ur dead before u can come up with a strategy

AR purists QQing about everything. This dates back to the beginning of Uprising where they lost their precious SS.

EVERYTHING was good in Chromosome. Except LAV's, but no one cared, they got you from place to place.

People have been crying about the MD since it got a much needed buff in beta. Hell, I remember when SPs and tanks were OP.

Only time i cried about it was at the start of uprising..it needed a buff to splash dmg. It is nowhere as strong as it was in chromo..the freedom was a true one hit wonder than.

Dude! most of your kills were taking at least 3 shots. And in the time it takes for you to kill a lot of those guys you could take them with an AR. Its just that with the MD you can dictate the engagement because of splash, you can dart in and out of cover. AR users (most of your targets) need to learn, kill first or GTFO. Its like a shotgunner. In a lot of those situations where you were in CQC with those guys, they would have retreated or been a lot more evasive.

The splash/smoke/knockback can be disorienting. But I think the effect of mass driver being so strong is largely psychological. The noise it makes is very underestimated as a fear tactic that shocks people. Try playing without sound, or turning weapon sound way down and see how you feel about it as an experiment. The sound is a huge factor in the feeling that it gives as an attacker, and as a receiver of MD attacks.

Also CQC is about suprise and damage application. You can have a lot of advantages with lots of cover around and that map is perfect for that for MD.

Lol so basically your argument is the AR users how to outplay, and flank the to MD to be competitive. Not sure how you can say splash/smoke/knockback is just "psychological" advantages, they make aiming at MD who are strafing/jumping impossible (while at the same time no amount of strafing will avoid a MD round).
