You clearly killed a drunk tanker with a poorly moduled militia Tank, if you took him out using absolutely only your PLC.

This is coming from a Proto PLC user - the PLC is not a good AV weapon. Getting tank kills with it are done by either luck, or support from other AV.

Trying to get a kill using only a Proto PLC vs a tank running top plates/extenders and modules, and he will either - 1. kill you or 2. get away.

because the reload speed is too slow and it doesn't dish out enough damage per shot.

The only times I ever get kills with it on a tank is when it is already weak (either from my mines + AV hades or help from other AVers) and I make the finishing shot on it...

A simple fix for this (which I and many others have constantly been harping/QQ'ing about) would be to introduce a high splash/low dam "Assault" variant for anit-inf. and a high dam/fast projectile "Breach" version for AV.

Of course, no ONE man with ONE weapon should be able to take on a tank esp. not someone using a light weapon. Maybe, a PRO heavy with a breach forge should be able to go head to head with a seasoned tanker, but thats about it besides another tank. But the PLC is definitely to "general purpose-ish" so that makes it not great for AV and o.k. for anti-inf.

again, refer two paragraphs up for a possible remedy to this issue...

I agree, the only way to kill a real fitted tank with this weapon is to strip the shields from it with the PLC and then spam AV nades on it.
