Something just occured to me though.
There were some people saying that the Rail Rifle they showed for the Caldari was really generic looking, and kind of looked like an assault rifle you could buy today with some extra plating slapped on.
Maybe what IWS was hinting is that they put together a new model with a different intent for the weapon?
I mean, you can see that it doesn't match the Rail Rifle pictures from FanFest, but if that's supposed to be the Gauss Rifle, that'd be a pretty cool modification of the original design they showed us. |

You can CLEARLY see that the same is wrong, as well as the sight on the top being completely different from the screencaps of the Sniper Rifle that have already been posted. |

If you look at them side by side, you can pretty clearly see some differences between the two.

That Gauss Rifle isn't a Dust weapon, just so you know.
They portrayed that in Templar One as being a standard weapon usable by normal human infantry. As they talked about in previous DevBlogs on YouTube, the weapons we use are designed in such a way that a normal human can't use them without injuring or killing themselves, such as the Assault Rifle bleeding off plasma around the barrel. |
