Anyway, I can't heap enough scorn on these nerf MD threads. Suddenly someone's weapon choice isn't 100% dominant anymore and the might die, so they cry foul.
Yes I MD. Yes I am a logi. I toss them at people to get them away from the dude I'm trying to needle. If I get a kill, cool. If not, 25 pts for an assist and 60 for the revive. The kills I do get just make me giggle all the harder as I know I am fueling more impotent forum rage. |

The state that determines if someone can be revived or not should be based on overkill damage, for -every- weapon. Shots that barely kill you should always allow you to be picked up, no matter what weapon it was. Shots that do a lot of damage past 0 armor, should leave you unable to be picked up, in my opinion.
I'll leave what qualifies as 'A lot past armor" to the community though.
Pssst, hey CPM duder. You are wrong. And dumb. Headshots prevent revives. FG hits prevent revives. Flaylocks prevent revives. Grenades prevent revives. Getting hit hard enough by an LAV prevents revives. Getting shot while on the ground prevents revives. HTFU and STFU. 1 weapon scenario out of a dozen other kill scenarios prevents a revive, and you **** and moan. THIS is why I hate the CPM, ignorant twats. |
