That's more than I've spent on any other single game. I'm not seeing the point in buying boosters since it barely reduces the amount of grinding/AFKing I have to do to unlock content.

Then I play my alt with no boosters and it is freaking depressing to see how low the numbers are so I quit. So that is the only reason I would continue to use boosters. Also after you reach a certain SP boosters are not necessary.

Once I run out of boosters I don't really feel like buying any more with aurum unless they finally release the 90 day omega booster... The reason being that the only thing left to spend skill points in for me is prototype gear, a few passive skills, maybe another weapon, and biotics. I'm pretty sure that I will have maxed out everything I want to at 25 million sp, after that I might start getting a good LAV or something, but that's it. You get 8.76 million sp/year passive, about 700k/month, and at this point in the game boosters really aren't that great. I bought 10 7 day active boosters when they were on sale for super cheap, and will be activating them only on the double sp weeks...active boosters just aren't worth it unless you play the game constantly and also have a passive booster going.

Peeps still buy boosters? I spent my fair share supporting DUST, but until core mechanics and match skillpoints are fixed, CCP has gotten all it's gonna out of me.

It wouldn't suck to have the massive grind if all the weapons had militia equivalents. Then you could know what your getting in to.

This might not be the best method (not yours, mine, if that takes away some ambiguity), but I myself, feel like I will contribute as much money to this game as I originally would have if I stumbled onto the game. Right now, I have only contributed 10 dollars to this game, and I have no buyers remorse so far, because to me, it feels like a 10 dollar game if I were to pay for the game all at once. I plan to give CCP at least 60 dollars as I would for any AAA title... but that will happen quite some time from now, since it for sure does not feel like it's worth that right now.

Heres how this works: Everyone has to grind. The better players know that and do it. The game really does have a race element. But its a marathon. I personaly enjoy long huals. Im a borderlands /armored core guy and let me tell you this: when the well is dry the well is dry. These long play games are awesome. Dont look at the big picture judge incrementally.

Eh, I would prefer it if people who purchased aurum had a significantly reduced grinding requirement. Like, three or four times faster than those who do not pay for boosters. After all, that's what free to play is all about. I'm beginning to see that most free to play games on my smartphone execute the F2P model better than Dust 514.

Money spent on something, or anything whether 1 buck or $20 should always be treated serious. Appreciated through providing the content for that buck. or basically getting your moneys worth. I feel for those that have spent more than I have. but at 12mil going into 13mil, I'm not gonna spend another dime in this game, and haven't. Spent $25 bucks so far to keep that dust514 server on in BF3. But to me, the filled up rooms and the messages I get from players saying how great the server is. I'm getting my money's worth.
