A few people are still invisible in matches to this day.
There are even people like SmokeyNutz from the Infamous(or however they spell it) corp who are abusing this glitch and running around with invisible scout Mk.0s with proto shotguns & proto nova knives, going 30+ kills, whilst being totally invisible and making people rage quit from the stupidity that something like this is STILL in game.

CCP this gamebreaking glitch needs a patch ASAP.

Set your graphics settings in game to low so you can see them. If you set everything to high or medium you never see them.

My graphics are never higher than 480 to start due to other issues that come from HD and this game. Most matches myself and teammates confirm the invisible player on the field. Though switching graphics does still help with rendering issues.

Have you checked the invisible player's fittings to see if there's a pattern? I suspect a few things here - scout suits alone are very quick movers, next up are profile dampeners that remove or lower the profile on the map or if they're using kinetic stabilizers or stamina stabilizers. And if they're proto shotgunning and proto knifing behind perhaps they're using a good tactic that's difficult to see.

I currently use a dragonfly and minmatar medium suit that can nail people behind and run away pretty quickly. However I'd like to join you on some of your matches sometime to see if we can spot these invisible guys.

I just had a match where I turned invisible without trying to and without knowing until I got hatemail when it ended.

I spawned in and got a black screen, but could still hear action noises around me. I mashed a lot of buttons in frustration, and suddenly I was in game again. I went happily on my way, hacking a bit, killing some enemies. I thought some of the players acted a bit weirdly when I shot at them, but being a scout, my bread and butter is sneaking up on people, so I figured they were just surprised and panicking. Now I know better, and would probably be able to recognize what's happened, if it happens again.

I'm pretty sure I could see my hands and weapon throughout the whole incident, but then again maybe not. Visual glitches with the weapons happen regularly, so I'm used to ignoring that.

Is there a known way to "break the spell", ie. turn visible again? I guess suiciding might do it, but I'm kind of reluctant to waste a fitting to compensate for a glitch in the game. On the other hand, I certainly don't want to run around with an unfair advantage.

I'm running 480p and low in-game display settings. For improved performance and whatnot. I've never crossed an invisible hostile.

Kindly tell me exactly what buttons I need to press to become invisible. This may be the Scout buff we've been waiting for since Uprising 1.0. .
