Why don't people ever mention them in MD QQ threads? They want a complete nerf across the board without even discussing other variants, and I know for a fact that these 2 are not OP, in fact, 1 of them is UP.

Of course it's not OP, you will never kill a someone with stacked Complex shield mods or a Heavy with a single clip, and get in 10 meters and you can kill him with anything. It's the best support weapon in the game, but it's not OP.

Which of the TWO weapons that you are using to ONE SHOT the guy do you use to kill him in ONE SHOT again? Is it the Flux or the MD?

Bragging about going x-0 once in pubs is not proving whether a weapon is OP or not. The flux argument has already been refuted countless times on the forum. It is a completely different element that is irrelevant since everything is dying after a flux, hell ARs kill heavies faster with a Flux than MDs can. You could say someone using a laser rifle could kill someone with 20 HP after using a Lotus Grenade, but what does this say about the laser rifle, except that it can finish someone off after a Lotus Grenade?

Its not OP. Do you not get basic math?

1 flux + 1 MD = 2 weapons NOT 1. YOU CANNOT OHK with MD (PERIOD).

Also if you are running with a squad it means you are utilizing its support role well.

I've been using the MD since Open Beta, extensively used all 3 variants in Chrome and Uprising pre-patch, so I know what I'm talking about compared to someone who admittingly doesn't even use the MD.

Welcome to the problem behind every "X is OP!" trend. Most AR users want to waltz safely between objectives having "fair fights" with other ARs with zerg rushing head on as their only tactic. They try to degrade the users of other weapons with misused terms while trying to over glorify that their weapon that gives them a damn hit marker to point and shoot at something requires some level of extra required skill... in a video game. Kind of silly really.

hmmm.....mass driver is currently being demonstrated to be beyond the expectations of a nube tube, but this is due to an issue with double buffing them in recent patches.

the aoe of the weapons are supposedly larger then they should be.

either way they are currently being used by full teams of experienced proto users, weapons like these should be simple to use, but unrewarding in the long term, as it currently stands these weapons are working better then the previously nerfed flaylock, it deserves a similar light nerf to bring it in line with where it should be.

So ... you have to use a grenade, hope it hits the guy in the shields, then hit him with a few MD rounds.

Didja do the same math with your "not OP nope nope nope" ARs?

Didja do the same experiment using core locus grendades?

You specifically cite that a dude who stacks 600 shields, has them all wiped out by a grenade designed to do that, and is 1 shotted through his ~150 armor is an OP thing. Did you reread what you typed out? Let me spell it out for you. A person with 0 shields, and ~150 armor is going to die in a few shots vs ANY WEAPON SYSTEM IN THE GAME.
