MDs to me are a bit over powered because of the high splash damage even if you miss you still hit for a lot. |

This would destroy the diversity of the types of MD as some are more geared for AoE and some for direct. Right now the MD gains an excessive benefit from the way explosive damage is calculated but that is changing. There is also some evidence that a latency issue is effecting things for all AoE weapons, CCP is looking into this. In addition there's the chance that AoE damage is being counted as a double head shot due to arcs of application, this last is unconfirmed but could explain a great deal of the behavior we're seeing.
In short I think that we need to get these general/core mechanics fixed and then see where things stand rather than playing with the stats on specific weapons, MD or otherwise,

Also, this lack of completion hasn't stopped CCP from nerfing a ton of other weapons. I find it silly that all of a sudden, now that the AR is the target, people seem to think that nerfing needs to wait.
No, it doesn't need to wait. It needs to happen sooner rather than later. |

I've been saying this for the last couple of days now. THe Breach needs the RoF of the standard, as it is now, there is no reason to use it over the standard.

only the assault can get 6+m splash and it can't get 150 splash damage. and the reason its littered in PC is to disrupt squad play and area denial. it is balanced. they are better faster ways to kill people then the MD. |

I have to agree with the above as the MD stands now you can have great direct damage or AoE not the best of both.
And just to make a point about these being 'noobtubes' try using one at a bit of range! With a 3-4 second travel time and arcing fire it needs skill to use! Lets not nerf everything because it can sometimes take down a Cal Logi with an AR! LetGÇÖs keep some usable variety in this game.
