After firing repeadedly, sometimes the rifle will get locked into a charge without holding fire. Trying to press fire after this freeze won't work to fix it, leaving the rifle useless. If I rapidly press fire and zoom, it will unlock while firing the unwanted charge. I suspect it's commonly seen at the end of a clip, possibly not engaging the reload animation and replacing it with a charge animation? Possibly lag thinking I was holding the button?
This is not the overheat mechanic, but rapid firing followed by a frozen charged shot. The charge meter is shown as fully charged, but unable to fire it or cancel it.
Does anyone else experience this or have footage? |

I've had this happen before - it seems to 'jam' up like that if you fire often with charged then uncharged shots.
Hence I still have them unused.... |

Are you sure the buttons on your DS3 aren't just sticking? This happens sometimes with my Left analogue stick. |

I tried that but they don't stick on any other weapon. I'm pretty sure now that it's a bug |

It happens when you run out of rounds, it's very annoying to say the least, if CCP want to know how to replicate, simply get down to 1-9 rounds and clear it. On the 0 round it locks the charge |

Thanks Vin. Good to know there is a definite point where it happens. I'll have to start to find a way around it until it hopefully gets fixed. It always happens on the kill shot too, which is annoying. The gun already has a heat build up mechanic, it doesn't need a second handicap.
