Well fit and SP invested pilots should be able to only withstand 1-2 shots from a proto breach 2-3 from proto assault and basic. (assuming that they're using high slots for damage mods.)
If you're like me and run crap militia afterburner/overdrive fit just to get on top of buildings then expect to get one shot by most things. Theres a problem when the supposed heavy AV weapon results in consistent 20-0 matches against infantry.
Its because other weapons are underpowered. Not because the FG is OP. BTW nice way of assuming EVERY single FG players is a scrub and only goes 20-0 because he uses a FG.
I go 25-3 ish every game but i can go 35+ kills with a militia AR. So by your standards there is also a problem with ARs?
NO. The other players are just stupid standing still in places where the forge gunner can see them.

Think of this: Pros: The reason i use a FG is that is the ONLY weapon that gives me an all around CHANCE, to take out every single thing the enemy throws at me. LAV? i cant kill them, but they dont come at me either. Poor dropships are obligated to run away or die VERY fast. Tanks will take cover after 3-4 shots. Infantry at long range, if they stand still they are done. Infantry 1on1 you can always shoot for that 1HKO and then swap for the side arm if miss.
CONS: -I have to RUN HEAVY (THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH of a draw back) -Vs Infantry , if there are more than 1 enemy, i will probably get obliterated, specially vs AR's. This takes a MASTERY of both the Forge gun and your side arm to survive. -Unless i have support from other Av infantry, its actually really hard to destroy a GOOD tank. -EVEN with other AV infantry is impossible to take out LAVs LOL -the SP sink on the weapon is ridiculous.
Please tell me the Weaponry Lv5 and Heavy weaponry level 3 you needed to skill into to use Mass drivers or AR? And how SLOW you run in Logi and Assault suits with them? PLEASE....
