So I was driving up a hill while a madrugar was driving down. As he passed he had his turret extended in my direction. It knocked into my gunnlogi and took out 90% of my shields. The madi took almost no damage. Why??? Seriously... another advantage? |

One would assume the Madrugar is a lot heavier than the Gunnlogi due to the amount of Armor it has, the extra weight would be useful in ramming vehicles.. but they're still faster than the Gunnlogi

The game lore (or something like that) is that the gallente use more powerful engines, but your right it's stupid that the heavy armour tank is faster. |

Wow.....how late were you to the party bro??? It's been like this 4ever..... Collision Damage affects Non-Mass more than Mass. Shield is affected in a terrible way though since it is % Based instead of Mass + Velocity = HP Damage (Armor Math). If you notice while driving on uneven terrain you will lose a chunk of Shield, often 1/4-1/3. This is the same for an Armor Tank as the Shield Layer, regardless of HP, will lose the same % of Shield during a similar impact/friction scenario. While on the other hand a high Armor Vehicle takes chip damage to Armor while a Shield Vehicle @ Base Armor will instapop on collision if low/no Shield remains. You have been learned  |

yesterday I killed 4 Sicas on purpose with madram skills. 2 allied, 2 enemy.
Armor is a real thing, shields are just some electric field thing, best thing to do is just gtfo the way. |

Accidentally killed a friendly Gunnlogi on my alt with a Madrugar this way I was shooting at some reddots and the blue tank tried to park between me and the reds and drove into my turret which was pointed where he wanted to go and died instantly. It was a bit bizarre I wasn't even moving and he was moving slowly lol. |
