I am considering specializing into one of the two mentioned suits, but I really do not know anything about either of them. I do know that I will only be going to ADV levels and my primary weapon will be the GLU-5 Tactical Assault Rifle.
What are the strengths and the weaknesses between the two suits? Which one has better overall survivability? What modules and equipment should I look for when creating my fitting? What are the suit bonuses and where can I look them up? Any help is appreciated. |

I see. Thanks for the input. As of now, I do not even have the GLU-5. I am only skilled to the GEK-38 and I might stay with it..
The sidearm bonus of the Assault does not really appeal to me, but the shield recharge rate does. However, the Logistics suit's hacking bonus might not be that useful considering I will most likely be armor tanking, which puts me at a disadvantage against suits that can make it to objectives faster.
If I do go for the Logi, I will probably play full support with injectors, rep tools, and possibly uplinks. If I so choose to go with the Assault, I will focus on getting from point A to point B with much haste, throwing out an uplink to keep my team on point.
Decisions.. What would you all suggest? What is needed more?

Thank you for the detailed breakdown of both suits. It is really insightful.
The "Super Scout" description sounds very appealing, but it leaves me wondering what a Core, M-1, or Flux Grenade can do to the suit. With how players are using nades as of late, I am a bit hesitant to choose this role.
On the other hand, the Logi suit does not seem to have many drawbacks aside from its lack of a sidearm and lower total eHP: which the extra low slot at ADV can make up for. As you had stated, it could do the same thing as an Assault and even more.
