Hey,
Basically suggestion, could we please have timestamps added besides each message we post.
Perhaps not even actual timestamps, just a message saying how long ago is was posted.
Ranging from 'Just Now' less than a minute ago, to minute counters.
Then have the timestamp expire at the hour mark.
Too often I'm in a channel thinking I'm talking to people that haven't said a time in hours. |

We definitely need this. Age-old issue which hasn't been addressed even though it should be fairly easy to do. |

it would be nice if there where also chat settings so you could filter out time to your liking ie set private channels to have a longer expire timer then local for example. |

+1, We need this.
Just make those time stamps easy to turn on and off so no need expiretimers and all that mess. This way you can check timetamps when ever you want for all messages. |

Well, perhaps time-stamps based on the EVE Time UTC/GMT.
I mean we already have the clock in game. |

Can we please have the chat channel MOTDs (message of the day)? You can set these in Eve and they provide instant news to anyone in the channel. Please make MOTD's set in EVE viewable in Dust. |

Meaning no disrespect but this was acknowledged at the end of May by Cmdr Wang, it's a recurring request, it's useful -- so why the joke about it? Since you took the time to reply (Aside from OP not asking "What is the current status of adding timestamps to chat?" rather than "Can we have timestamps in chat?") why not give a status or refer him back to the post in acknowledged requests? Nobody likes to be ridiculed by a Dev. |
