I pushed that button a lot this morning!
If lightly tanked, I would strip their shields with smg and blap with the plasma cannon.
If cal-logi, blap shields with plasma cannon, then blap armor with smg.

I was fighting in the orbital artillery outpost on spine crescent, where the stairs lead up to the bridge towards A, smg dueling with a guy there when another guy runs up into my 1v1, I swap to plasma cannon and direct body shot him right back into the spawn que and continue with the smg fight with the other fellow. Finally end up killing him before running back outside. Met alladin and his gang, and popped a few with it, although they thwarted many of my attempts to collect their trophies.

Was fun, fun.

Yup, it was a blast. I wish I could que up against the real power-houses more often, I love the challenge and I always like to see their tactics.

It wasn't very fair. I was using MD (I WIN button) on you. I normally don't use that gun.

Just an FYI, the PC gets a 10% bonus to shields and the SMG gets a 10% bonus to armor. So it is more effective to lead with the PC and finish with the SMG. Not to mention if you get a direct hit you won't waste your SMG ammo.

I'm provably the only person i know, that uses the Plasma Cannon regularly with the Commando suit, as a AV weapon combined with the Swarm Launcher...I call it the "Fire Spitting Kitten", i actually see tanks running for their life when they see all **** coming out of me... ; 5 Swarm missiles followed up with a Plasma Potato...

Anyway... what i trying to say... BS!! you don't use the Plasma Cannon !! I'm the only one crazy enough.

Ugh. I liked all this better a month ago, when I literally never ran into anyone else using the plasma cannon. I'm sure I wasn't the ONLY one, but I didn't bump into 'em often, if at all.

You're not fooling anyone with this. Many noticed the words of the announcement and figured out its more "double SP cap week, slightly increased active SP week." Those who didn't immediately realize this figured it out last night as they finished matches.

I barely have enough time to cap out as it is, much less chance now that it will take 50-75% longer to do so. Or at least, this is what I would be saying were i not going on vacation Saturday. How's that progress on implementing a cap-rollover? Or at least a partial rollover?

You know what would also be great? if I got SP for writing corp mails and recruiting people. You know which game does give you SP for this? Eve. Because its all passive. The only thing you lose by not grinding isk is the isk.

No, please, please, please do nothing to change the plasma cannon. Any buff to it will be followed shortly by whining and a nerf. Just, please, leave it alone.

I will sometimes toss a MD round at a tank to see how well... tanked it is. Sometimes it's not at all very tanky and a MD will do a lot of damage.
