Actually I have a real life and don't sit on the forums every second of every day. Not mad and not new. I just don't usually post on the forums but I'm tired of all the b******* for nerfs when people in STD gear run against Proto. If CCP would implement a matchmaking system where players/squad leads could pick -- STD/ADV/Proto -- before entering games and ONLY that level gear and below could be used, I'd bet there'd be a lot less complaining. It would also prevent the infamous "proto stomp". It seems to me that people want this game to be like COD, with every weapon doing the same damage. If you want that then go play COD. Apparently if you aren't using the AR you're wrong and everything else should be nerfed, am I right? Get real and learn to play a real tactic based game instead of a twitch shooter. |

The assault forgegun needs a direct and splash damage decrease. with such a low charge up time holding a charge doesn't become a burden but instead a benefit. The assault variant should match the other assault variants in the game and lose some damage for the increased rof. |

So, From my personal thoughts, I remember that an AsFG Deals 1500 Damage on hit (Don't quote me on it though....) So, 1500*2=3000
3000/8=375 DPS. And that's not taking into account charge time.
375 DPS on a 4K HP tank.
Heres the DPS of the Proto Swarms.
6*390= 2340.
So, assumeing the guy doesn't try to hit the Repper/booster, it would take 2 Swarm Volleys to kill a Tank.
Now, the refire rate On Swarm Launchers is tricky, but Assuming the time it takes to hit the target is 2.5 Seconds...
2340*2=4680 4680/2.5=1872.
So, this is basically a change to make a Heavy weapon UP. We already have one of those, we don't need another. |
