Well why does the 50k isk 10kg forgegun do more damage than a 5 ton railgun thats worth a million isk, it just doesnt make sense, and yes ur saying, but wait the ishykone dose 1600 not 1750 like the rail gun, but then you get complex damage mods and 25% damage form PRO level while the Rail only get 15% dmg increase from hybrid turrets and turret operation skills put together, Now your saying, but wait tanks can do dmg mods too, actually no cuz if we did, we could get soloed by AR's, n u know this sht is true. That's due to the fact that CCP switched the module and turret costs around so now we have cheap ass modules but ridiculously expensive turrets. And the forge/rail gun balance (while strange I admit) is that forge guns do more damage, but have less range, while rail guns do less damage but have more range. Sadly rendering issues mean that this is somewhat broken right now, |
