Why?
Well, the only way for me to get the double SP from my regular SP which is 5000SP is by purchasing a active skill booster.
This way, and only this way I could have had around 10K SP after the 1700WP match.

You told us, that you don't double the passive SP in a match, only double the amount of SP which you get from WP to punish or prevent the AFK people. Well guess what!? There is still a crap ton of people afk in the mcc or on the field not moving!

The only people you have punished are the one without a active skillbooster, and that is the ugly truth!

TL:TR it is only double SP if you use active skillboosters.

Look at the points:

Time GÇô August 7-14 from downtime to downtime.
The double skill point gain applies to all matches played in DUST 514 for the duration of the event.
Weekly skill point cap is set to 380,800 (that is double the normal 190,400!).
Passive skill point gain from matches are NOT doubled, this is to discourage AFK farming.
Active skill point gain is doubled! Your warpoints earned during the match will be doubled when it is converted into skill points.

As a normal player I get around 5000 SP, nearly every match.
Now that this event have started I'm earning around 6000 SP, nearly every match.

Did you see it? Without event 5000 SP, with the double SP event 6000 SP!
This is because of the last two points I have written above. So, for me to get the double amount of SP in this so called double SP event, I need to use a active skillbooster. And this is it what makes me so upset. That they cal it double SP event, but in real this is just a bold way to sell the boosters.
