Now, I love the mass driver. I started to think it was OP too until I took better ARs into the field, and we know from these forums that too few AR players believe they should be killed by anything other than more ARs.
So I'm wondering how many mass drivers you folks think will show up this week? I do not use massdrivers and I do not find them overpowered even though I am armor tanked. I like the variety and it just take some time for AR users to get accustomed to the massdrivers. They are not that good out in the open when you can keep the distance. The massdriver is really good in close urban combat zones and that is the only areas I have found them to be a problem. Their range is shorter and it gives more room for infantry to move around and not being sniped by duvoulles. I have learned my lesson to keep my distance from massdrivers or instead run right into the massdriver user and have him kill himself with his weapon. I call bs, I got owned just the other day, in an open field. There suppressing weapons, and thats the point, I should win in the wide open at mid range. And if you wanna troll and say I suck go ahead and trololol all day, I have almost 10mil sp and my ar is almost maxed, the mass driver is op thats a fact. With that said, its not very op, just needs a rof nerf I believe.
Saying you got 15 mil sp and proto assault rifle doesn't mean you good. Just mean you played longer than someone. Skill points don't say how good you are. I've been playing dust for almost 3 months I bet I can take you out with my nova knife. If you died at long range vs a mass driver that's pretty sad lol. Means you stood still and your aim fails. Assault rifles can basically snipe bro. How you miss? And that mass driver user is pretty skilled to pull that off. Good job. Okay its op because you fail. I understand and no I'm not trolling. I thought you was trolling when you mentioned the skill points lol. That doesn't mean skill. |

Tried playing tonight and I kept killing people with my nova knifes. but in the kill feed i saw assault rifle. and if you got killed by a flaylock now that's sad. The flaylock sucks sooooooo bad now. Mostly because the hit detection is fked. Flaylock now kill with direct hits since it's radius was nerfed so bad. And to get a direct hit with this hit detection requires a lot of skill. shyt even the shotgun has major issue because of the hit detection. nice try. |

I'd start by reducing explosive bonus to armor. I don't see the logic in it being so high. 105% or 110% would be plenty. I'd be fine with it being just 100% I think.
If they're going to nerf the weapon itself (again), go ahead but they need to fix the aiming system back to how it was in Chromosome at least.
Only reason I speced into the mass driver is because I bought the elite pack. So I speced into weapon that will make each suit shine. Logi I with mass driver. Heavy with forge and hmg, assault with ar and scout with sg. And my min scout with nova knives and remote explosives. |

Doubt it? Lmfao ask anyone in my corp. I don't waste skill points in suits. I use them in weapons.
Hmg level 4
Forge gun level 4
Mass driver level 3
Assault rifle level 4
Sniper level 3
Nova knife level 3
Smg level 2
Remote explosive level 3
Scrambler rifle level 1
Laser level 2
Flaylock level 5
Grenade level 1
Everything else is like 1-2 levels.
Only suit I speced into was the Mimitar Scout level 1 which gives you the basic m
Light frame at a advanced level
