Why would you ever say to someone paying to play your game, we don't want to accommodate, just deal with it? I guess I just see the Pro's side of things not the Neg's but that is a good thing to look at too. Would you guys be kind enough to help me list the pro's and cons?

Pro-
Don't get stuck grinding more sp to try and get back what as just taken away from you
Experience more of what the game has to offer, weapons, vehicles, equip etc.
Choose what best fits "you" and "your" play style and if we change a weapon or suit or vehicle that was your style and it no longer is, your not forced to play "are" style

anyways Ill check back with more, but those who are against are respec when something is changed after you spent sp into it, please list your cons and what effect this has on the game. I would like to know why it would hurt dust514 to not have those sp refunded.

But when the kinks are being worked out and some things drastically change, the SP should change as well. Perhaps a specific reset? For example: I would want a reset on all SP I put into shotguns. Perhaps give everyone a 5x lifetime respec tokens? You refund our ISK when skillbooks became rebalanced. Why not SP? I know the revenue of the game is based in SP, but you still have to do right by people. Its not like you're refunding AURUM or money spent.

I got aboput 6.5 Million SP in 3 months. That is more than enough to get a Protosuit. And 3 months is not really that long. Especially because people don't really need instant Protogear (and to be honest: You won't use it all the time, because it's too expensive anyways). So how do you want to justify respecs? It only encourages using the FOTM or it comforts the lazyness of people. Also the supportskills like Engineering, Electronics, Shield, Armor and so on are something you only need to skill once. And this is what needs the most SP anyways. And everybody who doesn't skill this should really go back to the academy anyways. So were talking about people wanting to respec because they want maybe about 2 million SP back to use another suit or they want 2 million SP back to spec into another weapon. Really? It takes maybe a month, 2 at max if you don't use boosters, to get 2 million SP. Why do you want to respec for that?

On the other hand I know that new weapons vehicles and suits are coming within the rest of the year (hopefully) and the 'NO RESPEC EVAAA' stance will cause trouble when those who have been waiting for new gear like the combat rifle and racial heavy suits are screwed over because idiot tryhards who play for their KDR (as if it even matters) decided they want to abuse the system like a bunch of twats. Really yall is it so hard to skill into what you enjoy playing instead of the 'most powerful' fit just to get ahead?

If you don't like any suit so far just spend your points into support skills you always need, instead of speccing into suits you don't want to use. Ccp isn't responsible if you spec a logi suit because you think it would make for a great assault suit. Grow up, life with your choices and play 3 months if you want to spec a new suit and weapon.

Example: commando When it came out it would've been nice to allow players the option to respec the sp spent in "sentinel" in order to make the change. When new racial variants of items are released then players should be able to spec out of the current variant and into the new if they so choose i.e. new tanks, racial weapons, the rest of the heavy races, and the other light frame races. (not like they was given a choice b4 as the item wasn't even available). I personally don't think I'll need one but the option would be nice. `Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST.

ME: Scout Hacker -> Scout sniper -> Frontline scout -> Logi AV -> Logi medic -> speeders (hopefully) -> next scout suite -> rest of logi suits -> Commando -> dropship -> random crap. Lol this gonna take a hell of a lot of time but I'm patient. `Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST.
