no... 1 a day is too much....
respec = lose 20% of total SP... there... that way you can plan ahead and be awesome, or respec to the FOTM and stay at the same SP by the time they balance or add something else |

That will not work and is not fair to new players AT ALL The only possible not offending way is a partial respec system balanced and spread tru time on schedule
i dont know... im pretty set on. if you want a respec. you lose 20% of your total SP... more SP means more inclined not to respec. making people jumping to different protos every build very rare |

im pretty much for no respec... but if they were to let it up to player choice and not a global respec, then i would say. lose 20% sp and some aurum or very large amount of isk... anyone over like 10 mil would be throwing away over a month of playtime... even if you had 5 mil. 1 mil is a lot to throw away.
i like to keep things simple. |

i like to keep things simple. I don't think you guys (who suggest 20-25% loss in SP) realise how much that is ... like in time 20-25% means that if you have player 4-5 monts you lose 1 month of SP ... ONE MONTH of your like foreever lost ... nowhere to be found . That would be a NO-NO suggestion for me
exactly... i do know how much time that is... maybe you should have planned SP better... then you wouldnt need a respec |

Kinda posting this to make the game better for others you know it's not only about me and you per say
thats the draw of the game, its sense of permanence. its why i play EVE as well... then there is the "well this isnt EVE" babies...
all i can say is... i would not be opposed to a respec after this upcoming huge content adding rebalancing update... however... after that... we are done.. if anyone doesnt like it, then quit, this game is not for them, just like EVE is not for everyone. |

You know what the fatal flaw of giving players a respec in a game like this after an update with new content ... everyone is goingto spec in the same new stuff and the problems will be even greater . Thats why I think it should done 1 point at a time . Slowly at a homogenical pace and with a lot of thought and planning .
you would think that. but then you have the ones who capitalize on this. everyone picks the same suit and same weapon.. it makes it easier for the ones who think ahead, to counter it. they all pic shield tanky suits, then i pick lasers. they all pick mass drivers, i pick minmatar assault... you have the sheep and you have the wolfs... let them be sheep.
also, in the end. when the market merges. they will have ridiculously high prices for the insane demand of the same suit/weapons |

Pun intended ;) But in all seriousness, Maybe one early-on respec to new players (3-5 mill SP) would be beneficial. Or immediately after they leave the academy. So that they have something of a trial period before they commit to what they want. After that though, I don't think so, I'm leaning more and more towards CCP's no-respec stance.
With no maximum SP cap theres no reason ppl can't continue to work for whatever they want.
Oh, and maybe an undo last purchase button... Just for those accidental impulse purchases?
undo button with a 30 min timer |

i am opposed to almost all respecs... however... just to diversify things so all players who want to use the new content dont have to start over... one more respec when majority of content is added as long as it is in the next 3 months, then no more after...
i would like to continue my dropship skill but to minmatar. but i dont want to start over when i have more than half of my skill points into caldari vehicles just so i can stay loyal to one race (i play EVE so im into the whole lore/RP aspect of Dust).
also if i for some reason i wanted to go into minmatar suit. all the other heavies would be using proto. I suffer due to my role playing. since i have to start from 0 sp into minmatar heavy, because they didnt even release a place-holder, or announce even a hint until very recently when my SP was already devoted to my two specialties...
In short... one more respec when 90% of racial suits and weapon have been added, after that, we done...
they will keep adding content but at least i wont be starting from 0 if they do, since i would already be using minnie stuff |

a respec that you can pay for or earn in any way. i am not ok with.
a respec after they release all this new content. im completely ok with since it will diversify the battlefield... |

no matter how you look at it... we wont get a respec system... CCP will not do it... i like to throw my ideas in, in the worst case scenario to at least make it fair in the very very unlikely chance that i will...
but
what you might want to fight for is one more respec after all the racial stuff has been released... much more likely. |
