So I have a merc pack from closed beta but I'm thinking I want to buy another pack since I'm pretty much out of boosters and aur. What are you guys opinion on which to buy next for value/vs dollars. Any help is appreciated |

All the packs are pretty decent, but if your gonna go all out, then the 100$ pack gives 60 days active and 60 days passive, plus 200,000 Aurum, and a bunch of bpo's and stuff. |

I got that one. The Dren gear is nice to try out different play styles (Dren Scout with Dren Shotgun has been fun). That being said, it's a lot of $ to be spending on a F2P game that isn't close to being a finished product (more like open beta). |

I bought the veteran pack. It gives enough aurum to buy more bpo's boosters and various gear to try out, a LAV, Medium Shield Caldari dropsuit, and a sniper rifle bpo. It also gives 1 each of a 30 day active and passive boosters.
It's a good buy for $50. Sometimes I regret spending the money when I'm frustrated with the game, but when I'm enjoying it I'm glad I have the extra stuff. |

You can't go wrong with any of em. I'd say go for the $50 or $100 dollar pack but the $20 is fine. |

I too would advise you don't go higher than the Veteran pack. Several of the BPO's in the Elite pack are actually Militia versions, and why would you want to drop $100 when you'll just be getting substandard stuff. Put down the 150k isk and get a hundred of the better Standard versions. That's one match worth of earnings. |

I think you will be able to sell the EVE stuff for some real monies(if your not gonna use it anyway)
The dust stuff is cool in 10th anniversary pack, but I don't think there is enough of it(for dust only anyway, still a cool looking pack) |

Only one I would want is the dren stuff on 100 dollar pack. More concerned with boosters to be honest. Guess I gotta look them over and do some math. 50 dollar pack seems good but 50 is still a bit much only due to "the state". Should have played more beta cause I got nothing out of it when uprising came along. No more sp then a new player. That kinda sucked as I'm now behind the gap. Darn kids taking away my gaming time... |

If you need an Assault Riffle BPO buy the Mercenary or Elite Pack.
If you need an Assault Suit BPO buy either the Mercenary, Veteran, or Elite Pack.
If you are a Sniper buy the Veteran pack.
If you need a LAV BPO buy the Veteran or Elite pack.
If you need a Heavy, Logi, or Scout suit BPO buy the Elite pack.
If you need a Shotgun, Swarm Launcher, (I forget the other ones) BPO buy an Elite Pack. |

Also, the elite pack one serious heavy BPO. Its a skill free sentinel.
And the dren shotgun(also only in the elite pack) is the only STD BPO shotgun. |

Here is a quick analysis:
merc pack 1x 30 days active 40,000 aur, so 1 passive 30 day 0.66$ per day of both boosters(both) 12,000AUR left
Veteran pack 1x 30 day passive 1x 30 day active 100,000 AUR to buy 3 other 30 day booster. 0.666$ per day of booster(both) 16,000AUR left
Elite pack 2x 30 day passive 2x 30 day active 200,000 AUR to buy 7 other 30 day booster. 4000 AUR left 0.606$ per day of booster(both)
Elite pack is more expensive, but more cost efficient if you want to buy only boosters, since you don't stay with as much AUR left. But in case you buy 100$ of pack overall, it get more interesting:
2x 50$ veteran pack 2x 30 day passive 2x 30 day active 200,000 AUR to buy 7 other 30 day booster. 0.606$ per day of booster(both) 4,000AUR left It's the same, except you get all the items in double
5x 20$ merc pack 5x 30 days active 200,000 aur, so 7 x 30 day boosters 0.555$ per day of boosters(both) 4,000AUR left
We got a winner for the long shot, the 20$ merc pack if it is just for boosters. If you prefer to pay for not playing, the elite pack or veteran is better, since you can get 9 passive booster and 2 active. |

Which one has militia stats? I currently use the Dren Heavy and that is not militia grade. One high slot and two low slots. I'll check the rest later.

Elite pack, you will regret not getting it from the get-go. All the blueprints make it easy to farm for ISK. The Dren weapons are much better than militia gear, some are on par or better than ADV imo. |

The Swarm Launcher, Shotgun, and Scrambler Pistol have militia CPU/PG. There's a thread about it linked below

All of the BPO suits in the Elite pack are functionally identical to their STD counterparts. The weapon BPOs all have STD damage, clip size, and reload time, but a few of them (Swarm Launcher and Scrambler Pistol) have MLT CPU/PG requirements. The AR and Shotgun have STD CPU/PG requirements and are basically identical to their STD ISK counterparts. |

If you play a lot and like to use all-BPO fittings, you should have at least one Elite Pack (and one Veteran... and one Merc). |
