I've found that either equipping an Ishukone forge gun to my cal sentinel and driving round in an saga with scanner is quite good for soloing hav's. That or my cloaked AV cal scout with swarms, AV nades and re's is also quite effective for soloing...

Lol real thale using scrubs use the proto cal commando for thale sniping as the bonus to rail dammage +2 complex dammage mods and url prof will kill almost anything and give you a decent hp pool.

I did find the best combo for spider in was having turns at logi and buffer . That being said I did miss rolling round in my limby or chaby using it to deflect incoming AV that was destined for the tank I was protecting.
