Well, dust was a unique standalone game until chromosome. After that dust is trying to incorporate other FPS mechanics like CoD, lowered TTK and most recently Titanfall. So no I see no improvement just changes

Its called "starter" fits for a reason, you are supposed to switch from them once you get used to this game. Just use basic gear instead of selling them, you should make profit if you use only basic gear in pubs.
