Confiming bug on my ps3 as well. For me its white, it covers most of the lower part of the screen and is about 5-6 inches from the bottom up, it carries over to figths. It flickers hard and it goes away when i move forward in battles and reappear ...

When trying to choose assignment via R2, to choose A/B/C etc for capture/defence, they wont show as assignable. Please fix :P It works fine thrugh start > map.. but thats slooow :(

Just to let you guys know, patchday is always like this! :) CCP delivers awsome game, but patchdays can be long days. Just ask eve players that been around for a while about the day they deleted their boot.ini file
