I haven't used that hive yet but I would have thought that it would alternate between healing and ammo(ie heal, ammo 1, ammo 2).

The extra SP is for everyone's first few matches, your booster gives you the full circle of SP instead of the 3/4 SP you would normally get.

From what I've read draw distance was too far in the previous build, in this one it's too short, and it will likely be just about right in the next build.

I have had quite a few problems with not being able to bring up the lock on interface by holding r1. Firing from the hip seems to fix it but it wastes a shot that could be taking down a dropship. The loss of lock on happens fairly often, as well ...

Nope, it will slide off the MCC and even if it didn't they blow up after a short time when unmanned(although you may have been able to take the uplink somewhere else and land the dropship elsewhere - would still blow up though).
