I have to admit that I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug or working as intended.
When I drop a K17/D Nanohive at my feet it will not give me any ammo until I am at 100% drop suit armour. It will repair my drop suit armour and then once my armour is at 100% it will then precede to resupply my ammunition.
I am not sure if this is happening for other team members using my nanohives, it might just be for the owner of the nanohive. |

I haven't used that hive yet but I would have thought that it would alternate between healing and ammo(ie heal, ammo 1, ammo 2). |

I'm using the same nanohive now and it does the same for me. It's more so an inconvenience. |

After further testing I can confirm that the behaviour is the same for both the navohive owner and others members of the team. It will heal armour first and when armour is 100% it will then proceed to resupply. |

Maybe the description should be more explicit about that... when I read the description it seemed to imply that the armor repair function had no effect on the nanohive's ability to resupply ammo. |

Glad I read this post before buying them. I was under the impression as above posters on this nanohive. Maybe reduce the resupply and armor rep to get both going at the same time? Otherwise I would change the description to give an indication as to how this mechanic operates. Because if I'm in a tough firefight, and low on ammo, I want the ammo first. Armor comes later on my priority list, after I've killed the opponent.
Just 2 ISK.

If i run up to a nanohive it becasue i wants ammo, if i have to wait for armour to rep first it totally defeats the purpose of me heading towards it, unless they have different icons on the mini map so i know not to waste my time there.
I think it would be better to resuply ammo first then repair armour, just my 2 cents. |

A system of icons or HUD elements would be helpful. |

When I approach a Nanohive I mainly expect my Ammo to be replenished. Armor is a secondary concern for this item. Also specify more clearly in the market description that it does heal.
I've been unable to resolve which Nanohives are healing and which are not, not yet skilled to use them. But I would like to have ammo replenishment as well as armor repair. In that case I would like to know how fast and how much it repairs, much like the description on Repair Guns.
An alternative is to put a Nanohive in the game which main purpose is healing, or only purpose?

He is right. It does state in the description that it has no effect on the resupply rate. This would indicate that having less than 100% armor wouldn't make a flip of difference. VERY POOR description given within game. I, however, have used them the last 2 builds and was just hopeful it would get fixed. (I had posted this same thing as a bug on the forums 2 months ago and got NO response from the Devs. Just left out in the complete dark, again, hoping it would get fixed to match the very deceptive description.)
Tip: If you see a nanohive on the ground, take note of the "+" sign on it. If it has a "+" sign on it, then it repairs armor. If it does NOT have a "+" sign on it, it just refills ammo. |

Not sure if anyone said it yet or not but the icon on the minimap is different for this nanohive. when this one is deployed instead of the normal ammo looking icon this one has a small plus in the bottom right to signify that it heals. I hope this helps anyone that is looking for ammo or anyone that is using this hive as a mini triage station. |
