You got to look at how they scale with everything else. STD variant will kill most STD dropsuits. ADV granades will kill most ADV suits. Proto should do the same. Just because your using a proto suit doesn't mean you shouldn't be OHKO'able.

there is a drop off to explosions i think. A flux grenade will kill within ~1/2 meter. I'm a mass driver user and I have NEVER ever seen a scout suit take that little damage. A shield assault stacking lots of shields can and will tank an entire ...
