If you wanna run NKs, I'd advise against running with a Shotgun on the same fitting. Use a M209 (Level 4) or at least the M-512A (Level 3) SMG and shove as many Sidearm Damage Mods as you can fit on it. You don't want to be completely outranged at...

Max out the Biotics branch if you're really wanting to Scout. But, in order to run anything worthy, you'll have to max out Electronics and Engineering. This, assuming you already maxed out Dampening and Range.
