They are very underrated mod, they give you great increases on melee at base mod stat plus the skill you get is sick, its like 50 percent with the skill leveled I think. |

Wait until they come up with the melee branch on the sidearm tree, and introduce essentially CR/RR melee gloves. I hear that walking and comms are up for the CR/RR treatment soon.

Seems like they did have a bunch of whack ass little modules like that.

Ran some melee mods last night on my minmatar assault with a stamina mod and a flaylock. Some pretty hilarious kills of shooting people with a flaylock then beating them to death.

True story. I was in a match against this buildGǪ Kept seeing Dengru(?) (melee) Surprised Person in the kill feed. Then they got me  I laughed hard it was 550 ish damage, double my HP Honestly one of the more interesting things I've seen in awhile
Yep, been punched by Dengru. Probably one of the poor bastards that was in that killfeed. I reserve melee kills for bunny hopping spasmos. It always makes me think of Marv killing Kevin in SinCity.

It is one of the most unused items in Dust, but hilarious to play around with.
Sadly have not managed to punch a HAV to death, not for lack of trying, got the final hit with a militia pistol a couple of times though

Ok, so I have actually melee'd a NK Minja.
It was really funny too, I noticed the slightly reddish pink dot running along right behind me (I only noticed because of how my dot was discolored). So I spun around as I was running off of a slight ledge and let off a couple of Scrambler Pistol rounds to his chest followed by a gun butt to the face.
He had knifed a whoooooole bunch of my teammates that game, I was a very lucky ************ that match. It was a forum regular too, I'll refrain from naming him unless he wishes to make himself known. We had a decent mail exchange after the battle, no hard feeling, GG's all around (good games, not get goods)

Melee is a blast. I have an alt that's just for Melee, best game was eight melee kills. I even beat down a poor shotgun user who saw me first.
