They just affect passive scan levels. The only bonus I know of that affects active scanners is the Gal Logi bonus.

I think it depends on your level of gun game. Personally, I am not great, so I have found the ACR to work well when I am fighting more directly. I find that if I take my time, and am attacking from behind or flanking, that the regular CR fits me...

108. Nova Knife Fit? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I would echo what Lee and Broker have said. Damps first and foremost. Dropsuit core upgrades. Are a must. Especially Engineering. I would wait awhile on the cloak. You are going to die a lot. I would also suggest putting some SP into uplinks a...

112. hello, I don't kill. - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
For stealth, it is damps all the way. Kincats are an SP sink so you might want to hold off leveling up that for awhile. Cardiac Regs are best if you are making lots of long runs, or if you find yourself running out of stamina during fights tryin...

113. Basic vs Spec dropsuits - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Considering the bonuses tied to suits, I wouldn't think basic frames would be worth it. Example, light frames don't get the cloak bonus. They seem wastes of SP and space, unless you are looking specifically for a challenge.

I was under the impression that jump height was based on speed, not stamina. And since scouts are the fastest innate suits in the game, this would make sense. I would wager you jump higher while sprinting vs walking, and that if you were to test ...

If you are on your own, that is your problem. Scouts are about the only suits that can lone wolf it (and even then it can be rough). If you are trying to solo objectives with a commando, you are not playing to the suits' strengths. Squad up an...

Probably. Nothing wrong with using the militia suits, but it kind of defeats the purpose to use a proto weapon on them with little SP dumped into other things. As a general rule, it is best to put your SP into core skills, such as armor, shield,...
