Totally agree with this. It serves no purpose and is 100% aesthetic, but I loved it. Made me feel like I was looking through my helmet with an electronic HUD overlay in it's visor

With any luck, they'll let use customize the control mapping so we can assign this to another button. The biggest problem for me is I never seem to push the R2 hard enough in a tight situation, so I usually just hold it down to open the gear wheel...

I'm not sure what happened, and I haven't heard about anybody else experiencing this. I ended up just buying loads of new equipment and moving on. It sucked, but it had to be done
