Do a connection test on your PS3, it's under the options menu to the far left at the main screen, under network options if I remember correctly. Something may have changed with your router or ISP that could be causing problems.

My official Sony headset works just fine, no lag etc from it. the old Official Sony Bluetooth Earpiece one gave me issues, but no lag, just constantly transmitting.
