BPO weapons gain the boosts from levelling skills, such as Assault Rifle proficiency. Not so sure about the BPO Dropsuits. They should get the Racial Bonus, if they're a race variant eg: Valor Scout. The Dragonfly Scout probably won't get anything.

I don't think it's limited to just installations because, unless my aim was dead on, I just Forge Gun'd a driver out of a LAV (wasn't an LLAV) without killing the LAV.

I've had something similar with Mass Drivers and Sniper Rifles, where you fire the first shot but it doesn't register on the ammo count and you can't reload after, and a follow-up show takes 2 off the count and clears the 'jam'

I had someone in my corp had this happen today toward the end of a battle, and it ended up kicking him about 30 seconds before it ended. So he lost his earned ISK, kills, used fittings and any salvage.
