A problem with being told you've been scanned is Sniper hunting, if a Sniper ever gets the "You've been Scanned" message, you bet they're going to move. Which is why I dont use Active Scanners when Thale's hunting.

I get a load of Cala's and Gastun's, but I dont need them. Everytime you kill someone there should be a 2-5% chance to get any one of their modules/equipment/weapon, Salvage right now is pretty much based on random numbers.
