It happens in other games too, I remember being kicked from BF3 servers for using a Shotgun. Why do people hate them so much? The usual reply I get, is that they can kill in one hit.

They should stay. The only way I see CCP being able to replace these rewards is through Omega Boosters. I've only got the Staff Recruiter, it looks pretty sweet, I think its white (Could be grey), with red stripes on the sleeves.

Kin Catz are probably mentioned because their usefulness for getting you in and out quickly. As for what mods to use to increase damage? Sidearm Damage Mods. Myofiboril Stimulants (Blue, Melee Damage Mods) only increase your 'R3' melee damage.

People will still be able to check their K/D from their kills and deaths. So removing it wont do much good. It should just be more risky for Thale's snipers (Or any sniper) to snipe from the redline.
