A change to heat reduction build-up wouldn't make the gun an AR, it's just a mild improvement that unlike the charge-time can actually be useful.

There's another thread: here. That suggests changing the weapon passive. The current passive decreases charge time, which does nothing for an Assault scrambler. Basically, it uniquely has a passive that does nothing for one of its weapon types....
