i'm pretty sure that's the manual from the old build when we were assigned by region,,,, but since the new build everyone was re-assigned corps which are split based on your race and class (i am gallente federation because i picked........gallente)

all corps exist in all regions.... the post you linked is referring to the corps that won in the battles that happened over the weekend (which themselves were region based).... Corp is assigned based on your character setup (race, class etc)
